The energy is shifting. This Saturday, May 16th, as the Taurus New Moon graces the sky at 3:01 PM, we begin a journey of grounding, flexibility, and reclaimed power.
I am thrilled to invite you to the #TheBendDontBreakChallenge, a four-day yoga and mindfulness experience designed to celebrate the upcoming release of my memoir, Alchemy of Bone and Petal.
The Heart of the Challenge
In the pages of my story, I explore the transition from the restrictive "Ward" to the expansive "Grove"—a path that required learning how to adapt without losing my essence. This challenge mirrors that evolution. We will move through four specific poses, beginning with the deep grounding of the New Moon and rising with the momentum of the Waxing Crescent.
The Roadmap
Starting Saturday morning, I will be sharing daily reminders and rituals, followed by afternoon pose instructions and "no-face" visual guides:
- Day 1 (Saturday): The Root. We begin with a Seated Butterfly Fold to honor the Taurus New Moon’s call for quiet intention.
- Day 2: The Perspective. As the crescent sliver appears, we find our "bend" with a Side-Body Seated Stretch.
- Day 3: The Strength. We build our foundation using a Bound Triangle Variation, focusing on structural integrity.
- Day 4: The Ascent. We culminate in Wild Thing, a heart-opening bloom that symbolizes standing tall in your own power.
